Data Scientist (m/f) - in the sportsbetting industry

Role & Function

As a data scientist at PBS you analyse the usability and customer experience in the online and retail sportsbetting market and play a big role in covering the massivley growing BI requirements across all PBS products. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Data driven analysis of existing products and development of KPIs
  • Finding and distinguishing correlating effects based on the analysis provided and conclude causation and actions to be taken that lead to measurable improvements.
  • Reporting to management in a clear and understandable manner
  • Ad hoc analysis and providing data for internal and external departments on relevant inquiries

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education in the field of information technology or mathematics is an advantage
  • Around 3 years of relevant experience in a BI department or as a data analyist (ideallly in the sportsbetting industry)
  • Solution-oriented personality with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand, analyse and describe complex data
  • Well-structured, sustainable approach
